Beware! A horde of muscular and brave Scots is about to invade Rome again! But no reason to worry… it’s not a barbaric invasion, just a peaceful and happy return to the Italian capital by some of the best whiskies!
The 9th edition of the Roma Whisky Festival will once again be hosted at the Salone delle Fontane in the architecturally geometrical and eye-popping neighbourhood of EUR in Rome, on April 25th - 26th… and if last year’s edition was a taste of the growing interest in the event, we guess this time it will be an even bigger success.
Of course Wilson & Morgan, after the gold medal won last year by our sherried Glen Grant 25yo, will attend once again with some new impressive bottlings and with our usual didactic and wildly entertaining masterclass, showcasing:
Glen Moray 2007-19 "Marsala Finish" 46%
a delicate and flowery whisky with a nutty touch from our classic Marsala casks
Caol Ila 2011-19 "1st fill Bourbon Barrel" 46%
an evergreen, the best-selling smoky and maritime whisky
Bunnahabhain 2014-19 "Heavy Peat" 48%
our beloved powerfully smoky Islay malt
Macduff 2006-19 "1st fill Sherry Wood - 100 UK proof " 57.8%
a sherry monster which already won a Silver Medal in Milan
Bunnahabhain 18yo “Sherry Wood” 59.7%
definitely not the usual Bunnahabhain, this is rich, organic, farmy and with a dry winey touch
Don’t miss this chance to discover our great whiskies, and many others, in the lovely atmosphere of Roman spring!
