An intense single cask Macallan which lets the full bodied, spicy and slightly waxy style of the distillery shine through the sherry. Bottled at the perfect age to achieve balance between the malty character and the influence of the Oloroso hogshead, it is more robust and masculine than expected. Peppery, with notes of liquorice and dried raisins, it hints at a winey note before finishing clean and intensely mineral. Limited edition of 222 bottles.
