Our classic secret young Speysider fully matured in sherry casks has established itself as a staple among whisky lovers. For this release, the successful formula stays the same… but we like to experiment a bit, and to offer slight variations on the theme with each passing year. The 2014 edition is always true to our style of fruity sherry, more on a light style than on a heavy and winey one. What makes it somehow different from the previous releases is the heavier accent on sweet notes of freshly baked cake, with a markedly buttery dough-like character. It’s really fragrant, with rich notes of candied oranges, yeast, rose petals and flowers. Its soul evokes both spring with its fresh and sunny aromas, and autumn with its rich pastry notes.
