A bottling which comes close in style to the previous edition and showcases great interaction between the sweet maltiness of the spirit and the fresh sherry casks, for a result which is not too winey and dominated by the sherry, but rather aimed at a buttery and biscuit-like profile. As expected, it’s a nutty, sweet and honeyed whisky, with its autumnal array of flavours: pears, apples, chestnuts, and a yeasty hay-like fragrance.
